Site-Compatible Internet Browsers and Operating Systems

Browsers

Church Web sites are built to support W3C standards-compliant browsers. The following browsers are currently supported: Internet Explorer 6.0, 6.0 (AOL), 7.0; Mozilla Firefox 1.x, 2.0; MSN Explorer; and Safari 2.0.x and 1.3. As of December 2006, this represented over 98% of the users of Church Web sites. Unsupported browsers may still be fully functional, but we do not certify that they will work with a Church Web site.

Operating Systems

Church Web sites are built to work on the following operating systems: Windows XP and Media Center 2005, Windows 2000/NT 5, Windows 98, Windows ME, and Macintosh. As of December 2006, this represented 99% of the users of Church Web sites. We do not support Linux, Windows 95, or FreeBSD.
