Artist Puts Heart into Nauvoo Temple Windows
April 3, 2002 — Church in the News
Tom Holdman feels privileged to have worked on three historic temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints so early in his career. First, there was the Palmyra New York Temple with its stained-glass windows depicting the Sacred Grove nearby. Then came the Winter Quarters Nebraska Temple, which called for scenes commemorating the pioneer trek. Now, Holdman has completed a large stained-glass panel to grace the baptistry of the Nauvoo Temple, as well as another piece for the ceiling of its celestial room.
