One day Jesus and his disciples were in a boat on the Sea of Galilee. Jesus fell asleep. The wind began to blow very hard. The waves were high. They filled the boat with water. The disciples thought the boat would sink. They were afraid. They awoke Jesus and asked him to help.

Jesus stood up. He commanded the wind to stop blowing. He told the waves to go down. The wind stopped blowing. The waves went down.

Jesus asked the disciples why they were afraid. He said they should have more faith. The disciples were surprised and afraid. They wanted to know what kind of man Jesus was. He could tell the wind to stop. He could tell the waves to go down. The wind and waves obeyed him.
