Men and Women of Faith Lecture Series

A series of lectures about the faith of Latter-day Saint men and women will be held the second Thursday of every month from February to November 2012 in the Church Office Building Auditorium at 50 East North Temple Street at 7:00 p.m.

Hours and Parking

The Church History Library is open Monday – Wednesday, & Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Preserving Your Personal History

As part of the Church History Department, the Church History Library is committed to providing opportunities for learning experiences that provide the public with the knowledge to preserve their own history as well as help them understand how Church History is relevant to them.

About the Building

In June 2009 the new Church History Library building will open on the corner of North Temple and Main Street in Salt Lake City, Utah. This library will house the historical collections of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

New LDS Church History Library Rises in Utah

An impressive new building under construction in Utah will be devoted entirely to preserving and sharing the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Church History Library is located in downtown Salt Lake City, northeast of Temple Square. The library will not open until June 2009, but here is a sneak peek into this state-of-the-art building.
