Sister Tanner to Speak at September 11 CES Fireside Sister Susan W. Tanner, Young Women general president, will speak at the Sunday, September 11, Church Educational System fireside for young adults. In her talk, Sister Tanner will discuss the scriptures and the powerful influence that sincere scripture study can have on lives. The meeting will be transmitted via satellite from the Marriott Center at Brigham Young University at 6:00 p.m. (MDT). As with all CES firesides, this meeting is for all young adults: ages 18 to 30, married or single. The Church will broadcast the meeting live in English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish to regions throughout the world. Subsequent rebroadcasts will follow in various languages: Armenian (East), Bulgarian, Cambodian, Cantonese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English (closed-captioned), Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Marshallese, Mongolian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Russian, Samoan, Spanish, Swedish, Tagalog, Thai, Tongan, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese. A videocassette or DVD recording of the broadcast in 28 different languages will be made available for Church units that do not receive satellite broadcasts.
