Kirtland—Kirtland Temple Stone Quarry
Early members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints obtained stone for the Kirtland Temple from the Stannard Quarry. Marks from their work are still visible today. For more sites in this area, see the Historic Kirtland Visitors’ Center.
