Isaiah 61 is another chapter that speaks of the blessings that can come to God’s people if they are faithful to Him. In the first three verses, Isaiah spoke of his mission to lift and bless the house of Israel. However, the mission more fully applies to the Savior, and Isaiah simply represented Him to the people. These verses can help describe the mission of all who are called to represent the Savior.
