Heber C. Kimball Home B. H. Roberts (1857–1933) Photograph, 1886 Heber C. Kimball finished building this brick home for his family in October 1845. Five months later, finding no buyers, the Kimballs abandoned their new home and headed west with the Saints. Elder Kimball crossed the plains to Utah in the original pioneer company of 1847.
