Springtime, Morgan Valley

The rural countryside around Peterson, Utah, engaged the interest of LeConte Stewart for more than 60 years. He pictured this small house with clapboard siding and nearby farm sheds scores of times during every season of the year and every time of day. It contained many of the elements that attracted him as an artist. Something different is captured in every painting of this scene carried out by the artist.
