Special Stake and Ward Activities

Single members should be offered stake and ward activities such as firesides, dances, choirs, service projects, priesthood preparation seminars, temple preparation seminars, temple excursions, cultural events, and sports. The stake presidency approves all stake activities and the bishopric approves all ward activities for single members.

Activities for single members are to comply with the policies and guidelines in the Church Handbook of Instructions, Book 2: Priesthood and Auxiliary Leaders (1998), 276–80.
