Charles W. Dahlquist II
Young Men General President

Charles W. Dahlquist II, 58, was born in Provo, Utah, to C. Winston and Afton Ahlander Dahlquist. He spent his childhood in Boise, Idaho. He received his juris doctorate from the University of Utah after finishing a bachelor's degree at Brigham Young University. He is an attorney and leader in civic and community organizations and is actively involved in community service. He is currently serving on the National Boy Scouts of America Executive Board. A recipient of the Silver Beaver Award, he has been involved in Scouting for most of his life.

Charles W. Dahlquist has served as president of the Germany Hamburg Mission, full-time missionary in the Swiss Mission, stake president, counselor in a stake presidency, high councilor, president of a young single adult branch, and ward Young Men president. He married Zella B. Darley. They now live in Sandy, Utah. They have five daughters and seven grandchildren.

   

Dean R. Burgess
First Counselor, Young Men General Presidency

Brother Dean R. Burgess, 59, was born to Reid and Ethel King Burgess in Alpine, Utah, and grew up working in the family-owned mercantile store and on their 20-acre farm. His parents taught him the value of family, hard work, and the principles of the gospel.

After returning home from serving a full-time mission in Brazil, Brother Burgess completed his education at Brigham Young University in business management. He is a construction supervisor and home builder. He returned to Brazil in 1997 to serve as president of the Brazil Belo Horizonte East Mission. His other Church service includes counselor in stake presidencies, stake Young Men president, bishop, and high councilor. He currently serves on the National Boy Scouts of America Advisory Council.

Brother Burgess is married to Annette Christensen Burgess, and they reside in Sandy, Utah. They are the parents of five children.
   

Michael A. Neider
Second Counselor,
Young Men General Presidency

Brother Neider, 57, was born in Pocatello, Idaho, to H. Boyd and Donna Neider and was raised in Tyhee, Idaho. He was the third of six children. He attended Brigham Young University, where he earned his bachelor's and law degrees. He served as a full-time missionary in the Central Atlantic States Mission. In 1971, he and Rosemary Curtis were married. Together they have eight children and six grandchildren. They live in Sandy, Utah, where Brother Neider is an attorney and an executive in his own construction-materials manufacturing business. He is active in community service and has also served as counselor in the Utah Salt Lake City South Mission presidency, stake president, stake Young Men president, bishop, ward mission leader, and Scoutmaster. He currently serves on the National Boy Scouts of America Advisory Council.

Scott W. Cameron

Brother Scott W. Cameron, 59, was called as a member of the Young Men General Board in December 2004. He is presently employed as associate dean at Brigham Young University's J. Reuben Clark Law School. He has served as a mission president, counselor in a stake presidency, and bishop. Brother Cameron is married to Christine Cannon, and they are the parents of six children. They currently reside in Provo, Utah.

   

Matthew R. Clarke

Brother Matthew R. Clarke, 44, was called as a member of the Young Men General Board in December 2004. He has a master's degree in accounting from Brigham Young University and is presently employed as the controller for BMW Bank of North America. He has served as a bishop, high councilor, teachers quorum adviser, and priests quorum adviser. Brother Clarke is married to Janine Tueller, and they are the parents of five children. They currently reside in Sandy, Utah.

Mark A. Dietlein

Brother Mark A. Dietlein, 50, was called as a member of the Young Men General Board in January 2006. He is the president, chief executive officer, and cofounder of Hale Centre Theatre in Salt Lake City. He has served as a counselor in a stake presidency, bishop, high councilor, and elders quorum president and in various Aaronic Priesthood and Scouting assignments. As a missionary, he served in the Utah Salt Lake City Mission and the Brazil Porto Alegre Mission. He and his wife, Sally, have four children. They currently reside in Murray, Utah.

   
David B. Erickson

David B. Erickson

Brother David B. Erickson, 54, was called as a member of the Young Men General Board in February 2006. He is an attorney with Intermountain Healthcare. He has served as a bishop, Young Men president, teachers quorum adviser, and Venturing Advisor and three times as a Varsity Scout Coach. Brother Erickson married Julie Ann Hill, now deceased. They are the parents of nine children. He currently resides in Pleasant View, Utah.

   
Bradley D.  Harris

Bradley D. Harris

Brother Bradley D. Harris, 50, was called as a member of the Young Men General Board in February 2006. He is presently employed as associate professor at Brigham Young University in the Recreation Management and Youth Leadership Department. He has served as a counselor in a stake presidency, bishop, and high councilor and in various Aaronic Priesthood and Scouting assignments. Brother Harris is married to Sandra Wright, and they are the parents of six children. They currently reside in Lindon, Utah.

   

J. Floyd Hatch

Brother J. Floyd Hatch, 53, was called as a member of the Young Men General Board in December 2004. He is self-employed as a commercial real estate broker and developer. He has served as a bishop of a young single adult ward, high councilor, stake Young Men president, ward Young Men president, and temple worker. Brother Hatch is married to Carol Lee Anderson, and they are the parents of five children. They currently reside in Holladay, Utah.

   

Allan F. Packer

Brother Allan F. Packer, 57, was called as a member of the Young Men General Board in December 2004. He is presently employed in the Missionary Department of the Church. He has served as a mission president, counselor in a stake presidency, and bishop and in various Aaronic Priesthood and Scouting assignments. Brother Packer is married to Terri Anne Bennett, and they are the parents of eight children. They currently reside in Sandy, Utah.

   

Andres R. Ramos

Brother Andres R. Ramos, 46, was called as a member of the Young Men General Board in December 2004. He is presently employed in law enforcement. He has served as a bishop three times and as a branch president three times and in various Aaronic Priesthood and Scouting assignments. Brother Ramos is married to Rita Rivas, and they are the parents of five children. They currently reside in Riverdale, Utah.
