Elder Mervyn B. Arnold tells the touching story of how Brother Marques, a dedicated youth leader, gave extra effort and love to activate a young man in the gospel. He did it the Savior's way.

The man who portrays the adult leader in the video is actually Fernando Araujo, now a grown member of the Church. The video is based on Elder Arnold's general conference address from April 2004, " 'Strengthen Thy Brethren,' " Ensign, May 2004, 46–48. Running time, 3:19.

For leaders:

  • Make note of the steps this loving leader takes in order to activate Fernando.

"And if any man among you be strong in the Spirit, let him take with him him that is weak, that he may be edified in all meekness, that he may become strong also."

D&C 84:106
