The youth themselves can be a powerful influence for good in helping their peers understand and live the standards.
Activity
- With a class or quorum presidency or youth committee, study the truths underlying the guidelines for "Music and Dancing," pages 20–21 of For the Strength of Youth.
- Plan a youth dance.
- Have youth participate in determining the type of dress, the music to be played, and the type of dancing to be allowed at the dance.
- Select members of the youth committee or presidency to explain to their class or quorum members the music and dance standards that have been agreed on.
