Gospel Doctrine teachers: The lessons in the manual contain more information than you will probably be able to teach in one class period. Seek the Spirit of the Lord in selecting the scripture accounts, questions, and other lesson materials that best meet the needs of class members.

• The official scripture study aids often have helpful information you can use in your lessons. For example, the lesson for this week references the entries for "Circumcision" and "Cornelius" in the Bible Dictionary (see lesson manual, page 125). The lesson also suggests using a map of Paul's first missionary journey, which is available in the maps section of Latter-day Saint editions of the Bible (map 13 for editions printed in 1999 or later; map 19 in printings before 1999) (see lesson manual, page 125).
• The lesson manual suggests using a map of the world in combination with current Church membership statistics (see lesson manual, page 128). A map of the world is available in the Church history maps section of newer triple combinations, or you can use any other version of a world map that may be available to you.
