In previous years, the auxiliary general presidencies of the Church have held open houses in conjunction with each general conference. The open houses were attended by both stake and ward auxiliary presidencies and their priesthood leaders. In 2007, the auxiliary open houses were discontinued.

Beginning in 2008, in conjunction with April general conference, the general auxiliary organizations will hold training workshops for stake auxiliary leaders once a year. This year’s training will focus on how stake auxiliary leaders can help new ward auxiliary leaders learn their duties.

Members of stake auxiliary presidencies who will be in Salt Lake City for April general conference are welcome to participate in the training, but should not feel obligated to attend. Following is the schedule for the training.
