Ann W. Farnsworth

ANN W. FARNSWORTH
Relief Society General Board Member

Sister Farnsworth was born to Joseph B. Wirthlin and Elisa Young Rogers in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Kent W. Farnsworth in the Salt Lake Temple. They have four children and ten grandchildren. Being a wife, mother, and grandmother is one of her greatest joys.

Sister Farnsworth has served in the Relief Society, Young Women, and Primary auxiliaries of the Church, including serving with her husband as he presided over the Florida Orlando Mission. She graduated from the University of Utah in elementary education. The scripture in Proverbs 3:5–6 (“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; . . . and he shall direct thy paths”) has given her direction all her life.
