Helping young women find answers to their questions.

A group of young women approached their Young Women leaders to find out what the Church’s official policy was on swimsuits.  Rather than giving them the answer, the leaders determined that the youth could learn from Joseph Smith’s example and each could ask God to help them find the answer to their question.

Watch the following video clip and see how their leaders taught these young women to find answers to their questions by praying with real intent and studying doctrines and words of latter-day prophets relevant to their question.  Observe how they provided formal and informal opportunities to learn from each other.  Note how the young women and their leaders were blessed on their journey.
