ROSEMARY M. WIXOM
Young Women General Board Member

Rosemary Wixom was raised in Salt Lake City.  She received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Utah State University.  While in college she met Jack Wixom and they married in the Salt Lake Temple.  They are the parents of six children, three boys and three girls, and grandparents of six grandchildren.

Sister Wixom has served in various Church auxiliaries.  She was serving on the Primary General Board when she was called in 2006 to serve a mission with her husband as he presided over the Washington DC South Mission. 

As a wife, a mother, and a daughter of God, she relies on the truth of Doctrine and Covenants 68:6: “Be of good cheer and do not fear, for I the Lord am with you, and will stand by you.”
