Following months of eager anticipation, the Young Ambassadors performing troupe from Brigham Young University (sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) arrived in South Africa on April 25. They will be presenting the musical “Harmony” at a number of venues from Tzaneen to Cape Town, from Botswana to Durban and many points in between. The Young Ambassadors will also give workshops, outreaches, Firesides, and Family Home Evenings and informal visits as they travel throughout the area.
The premier of “Harmony” was presented at Pro Musica Theatre in Roodepoort to a very responsive, standing –room only audience. Equally enthusiastic groups have participated in other informal presentations given during the past week.
