A discovery of Church sites in Missouri begins at the Independence Visitors’ Center. This center honors both past and present with exhibits depicting experiences of Mormon settlers in Missouri between 1831 and 1839. There are also exhibits about the importance of families, the Book of Mormon, and messages from modern prophets.

For a limited time you are invited to come be inspired by Witnesses of Christ, an exhibit of 18 powerfully moving paintings depicting scenes from the life and ministry of Jesus Christ by renowned artist Liz Lemon Swindle. This is a special opportunity. The exhibit will be at the Mormon Independence Visitors' Center through the month of April. The exhibit and parking is free of charge.
Mission President's Fireside
Visitors are invited to attend a devotional featuring conversion stories and testimonies of newly baptized members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, music, and messages by President Donald J. Keyes and Sister Jackie Keyes.
