Visit this peaceful site on a 52-acre hill top with woods, specimen trees, and beautiful flower gardens. The temple rises magnificently against the sky, either in the daylight sun or when illuminated at night.

The Washington D.C. Temple Visitors' Center invites you to enjoy film presentations and interactive exhibits which explain the purpose of the temple and describe its interior. Informed guides are also available for free tours beginning in the lobby with its dominating marble reproduction of the Christus statue.

You are also welcome to attend the frequent concerts and lectures held at the visitors' center throughout the year. In December, celebrate the Christmas season with us by coming to the Festival of Lights. See a spectacular outdoor light display and nativity scene; come inside to enjoy international Nativity sets, 16 decorated Christmas trees and nightly concerts. We hope to see you there!
