Visit the heart of Old Nauvoo's social life. During the evening, it's still the place to be! "Rendezvous in Old Nauvoo", a musical drama documenting life during the city's golden age, is performed nightly throughout the year (on demand).
The Cultural Hall was built to serve multiple purposes. It housed church and business meetings, plays, concerts, Masonic lodge meetings, funerals and even court sessions. In 1846, the building became the center of activity when hundreds of wagons were constructed in preparation for Church members' journey on the trek westward.
