First Presidency

The President of the Church and his Counselors. They are a quorum of three high priests and preside over the whole Church. The First Presidency holds all the keys of the priesthood.

  • The keys of the kingdom always belong to the Presidency of the High Priesthood:D&C 81:2;
  • The Presidency of the High Priesthood has the right to officiate in all offices:D&C 107:9, 22;
  • Whosoever receiveth me receiveth the First Presidency:D&C 112:20, 30;
