Available formats
This site provides official Church content for the following formats. These formats can be used for viewing online (streaming) or for downloading.
Windows Media 8: This 300K format is usually the best format for Windows 98 or older systems. Download this free Windows Media Player.
Windows Media 9: For use on Windows 2000 and newer systems. This format uses multiple bit rate (MBR) technology. MBR files contain multiple compression (56K, 300K, or 1MB) that will adapt to your computer or Internet configuration. Download this free Windows Media Player.
QuickTime: Downloadable format (MP4) to play in player or audio devices. Download the free Quick Time and iTunes Media Player

Download information
Note: Files on this site are very large and not ideally suited for use on a dial-up connection. The Windows Media 8 files are the smallest files, averaging 8MB for a 3-minute video. The Windows Media 9 files average 20MB for a 3-minute video, and will take 20 minutes to download on a 56K connection. For a 20-minute video, file sizes average 80MB and can exceed 2 hours in download time on a 56K connection.
To download a video to your computer, right-click on the desired link, then select Save Target As... in the dropdown menu that opens. Then select the location on your computer where you wish to save the file, and click Save.
