It has been two months since I have watched this Face to Face. Recently, I have being asking myself and God a lot of questions. But then I found a link to this Face to Face again and every single question I had is answered right here. This is amazing and I feel like this is Gods way of saying that He is there and wants me to understand and feel his love.

President Eyring and Elder Holland, thank you so much for this spiritual experience. I know that some of the answers you gave for the questions were ones that I really needed to hear. Thank you so much for giving the youth of the church light and direction!
Anonymous User 5 months ago Utah, United States
This Face To Face has answered many of my questions. My youth leaders gave us a challenge at the beginning of the year to have a question and to search for an answer throughout the year. This Face To Face has answered my question and has given me a different perspective of many other topics. Thank You!

I had so much fun watching this. Thanks to all those who made it possible!

The main thing that impressed upon me personally was the clear focus on the importance of studying our scriptures and the answers we can get from then. I also really enjoyed the discussion on the subject of prayer, and how we should approach God when praying. When I first heard what they were saying I was a little confused, because I felt like they were saying that prayers cannot be personal. After pondering about it I realized that prayers can and should be personal, but that we should be aware of how we approach God, and approach him in prayer respectfully, as our Heavenly Father, not as a peer. Excellent broadcast.

I really enjoy reading the scriptures and such, but sometimes I feel I have to drag myself to make sure I have time to read them. Do you have any tips?

Most of the questions that we're asked caught me by surprise because it was so similar to the questions I had always asked myself back then but had never felt the decency to talk to someone about it. It would always slip my mind whenever I am given the time to ask. I have come to know the challenges that I face gets more challenging as each day passes but after last night's devotional to watch the broadcast, I am more spiritually filled than I ever was. That being said, one of the challenges that held me back was 'perfection'. Every time I fall, I always have a hard time getting back up not because I was afraid to get back up, but because I have a hard time accepting why did I even fall down in the first place. But after hearing President Eyring share that "We're not perfect and we think we fall shortly but WE DO" followed by Elder Holland to fight through it. I have never felt at peace. Thank you for this broadcast! It was my first time watching one.

What a wonderful experience to sit down and hear from elder Holland and Eyring. I learned so much on the topics. I found the time to watch face to face and was fulfilled with the spirit. I am so grateful to be a member of the church. It has allowed me to become a better person.

I've had friends who were interested in learning more about the LDS church, but later on preferred to not get involved because the few times they had met a LDS member, they had bothered them about the length of their skirt, even if it's the only one they have, the fact that they may drink coffee, and so on. How can I help them understand that not all Mormons are that way and help them want to get to know the LDS church better?

As a full time missionary I have gained so much from this youth event. Some questions that have been on my mind have had light shed on them today. It just adds to my testimony that I know that god hears us and will have his prophets and apostles be led the Holy Spirit to answer us, his children!

Thank you so much for that spiritual experience!!! I loved being able to listen! Hope everyone had the same spirit inside that I did! I want everyone to know that Heavenly Father and Jesus love each of us and knows us. Jesus suffered for each of us, and he knows us like nobody else can. He will be there for you whenever you are in need, and will be there to comfort you at all times through the Holy Ghost. Luv you all!!!!

I loved watching and learning. I can't wait for the next event, and I really liked the Joseph Smith first vision video. Although, I wish it was broadcasted to the youth YouTube channel because I couldn't watch it on a TV so my family could watch it with me.

I had the opportunity to watch this as I am on my mission in Washington. I am grateful for everyone's questions as I had some of the same ones. Thank you Elder Eyring and Holland for your answers and for teaching with the Spirit. You really helped me strengthen my testimony and answer questions I had of my own.

I really stand all amazed that heaven knows me. My questions has been answered. I have learned a lot form this event, some of the things that I learned is that. The word of God will go forth boldly. It will be as a voice of thunder to the hardened hearts, but to the lowly and submissive it is a still voice of perfect mildness, as if it had been a whisper, and it did pierce even to the very soul. Whether it be a voice of thunder or a voice of perfect mildness, I know it is full of charity.

It has been a very wonderful experience for me to hear from these two special witnesses of Jesus Christ. I feel my love for Him and His servants increase more and more every time I listen to them speak. Our prophets and apostles are living proofs that the church is true. I will always be grateful for the many wonderful opportunities the church gives the youth these days which help us increase our knowledge about Him and His church and strengthen our faith and testimonies.

Logan R from Michigan. I am very happy that you shared your experience. I know that it helps a lot to watch face to face, because we can feel the Spirit and it can help us become closer to God. What stake do you go to in Michigan?
Mariah W 6 months ago Idaho, United States
This Face to Face event is one of the most amazing spiritual experiences I've ever had. I especially loved what President Eyring and Elder Holland said about prayer and how when you pray, you are approaching the throne of god, and you should act as such. On Sunday, I was able to just kneel in the center of the dark closet and just sit there until I felt worthy to approach the throne of God.
Logan R 6 months ago Michigan, United States
Being completely honest, I did not want to listen to this at first, but my Mom, well, "insisted" so I ended up watching it anyway. HOWEVER -- After watching it I realized that it was worth it. The apostles are righteous men and I learned a lot from this Face2Face event.
MaryAnn C 6 months ago Washington, United States
I know that everyone loves Elder Holland and President Eyring, but together they are the perfect team to answer any question that the youth around the world have. I absolutely LOVED this face2face event. It was most definitely my favorite out of all of the ones that I have seen so far. I haven't felt the spirit more strongly in a long time. When the camera turned to Elder Holland's wife, I just felt the overwhelming sense of love that he felt for his wife, and I thought to myself, That's what my husband is going to be like when I get married. He is going to love me and treat me like a queen. I love how all of the prophets and apostles set such an amazing example of how women are supposed to be treated. They talk about the divine roles of women in the world, in the Plan of Salvation. I just really felt the spirit during this face2face event. We seriously need to have them MUCH MORE OFTEN. I can't wait for the next one to come along...I know that I will be watching it live with my ward!!

Aubrey L from Utah. read Elder Bednar's talk "That We Might “Not … Shrink” (D&C 19:18)" David A. Bednar. I have a testimony that all things will work out one way or another(pres. Gordon b hinckley ch.3 teachings of the prophets). If we accept this and trust God and his plan, our anxiety subsides because God knows all things and if we trust him, our future will not scare us. (D&C 6:36) Read mosiah 4:9-11. Believe in God, believe that he is... believe that man doth not comprehend all the things which the Lord can comprehend. And when we accept that we do not comprehend all that God does, we become stronger servents of God.

I have a question, I was born with a physical disability. Sometimes, it's hard for me to think that Christ can heal me, that he suffered for me. I have read many times in the scriptures how many were healed and able to walk and stand. Can Christ really heal me? How can he heal me even though the only contact I have with him are primary answers? When will this pain finally end? Do I have to endure this trial until I die? Even when I am at peace with it. Even though I am an innocent that has done nothing wrong, still waking up every day in serious amount of pain? Is it normal that I believe it's unfair?
Anonymous User 6 months ago Idaho, United States
Thank You, Thank You, elder Holland and President Eyring! You have answered my question better than I had hoped. In fact, the last few times I asked a question on the Face2Face website, my questions weren't even asked. I am so glad that you answered my question! It was just what I needed to hear! :)

Thankyou soooo much for putting this on!! :D It was also my first one and I honest DO NOT regret waking up at 3:30am to watch this. My Young Women's leader woke up before her alarm and remembered me talking about it at Mutual and she decided to watch a little bit of it. It help me learn more about the Atonement and helped my leader learn more about the Atonement for our Young Women's lesson today. It also answered some of my questions I've had and been pondering. The Face to Face Conference also helped me during my times of trials and struggles this week. It has been such an uplifting experience for me and I have learnt sooo much. Thank you, Thankyou everyone!! :D GO AUSTRALIAN SAINTS!!! AND ALL YOUTH THROUGHOUT THE WORLD!!!

The closing him, Thy Will Be Done, was beautiful as well, and I teared up, listening to the lyrics as the clips of Jesus Christ came on the screen. One of my favorite points that was talked about was Patriarchal Blessings. My dad, who's been diving headfirst into family history, discovered that you could request the Patriarchal Blessing of a deceased family member. It was an amazing experience and I'm really glad I was able to go watch with my fellow youth. I could definitely feel my testimony strengthen, and next time, I'm planning on inviting some friends.
Marlee K 6 months ago Illinois, United States
This was my first Face to Face event. It was beautiful, and, honestly, I cried. I could feel the spirit so strongly as I listened to the words of Elder Holland and President Eyring. And, in the words of President Eyring, I was quiet. I knew for myself that those words were true. Last night, I went with my dad to the ward temple trip. As I waited for confirmation, I grabbed a bible and decided to read whatever I flipped open to. The book opened to Revelations 22. In Elder Holland's closing testimony, he quoted verse 13 from that chapter and I started crying. I knew that it was no coincidence that I opened to that chapter in the beautiful silence of the baptistry.
Aleya B 6 months ago Michigan, United States
Kolby D from Arizona I hope that you don't mind that I am trying to answer your question, but I felt inspired to do so. I think that it is amazing about what your patriarchal blessing said. I just recently got the opportunity to receive mine. I think that we are all witnesses of God, however, some of us might be more in tuned with the Spirit than others. You are chosen by God to do something spectacular. I think that if you let God take control, and if you are in tuned with the Spirit, you will be a special witness of him. When I got my patriarchal blessing, I was told that I could ask advice about my patriarchal blessing with my family, but I should try to understand it myself through study and prayer. I know that if you ask God to help you understand the true meaning of your patriarchal blessing, he will direct you to the right path. He loves you very much, and he would never want you to get the wrong idea. I hope that this helps you.

This face to face was such a wonderful experience to watch. I felt the spirit so strongly and loved hearing the words of the apostles. I'm so thankful I got to watch this broadcast! I definitely felt the Holy Ghosts companionship in my heart as I listened to Elder Holland and President Eyrings insights. The spirit helped me learn lessons specifically helpful to my current situations and testified of the truth of the guidance and advice that were offered in response to the questions and to some of my own questions and insecurities. I'm again soooo thankful for this chance to have heard from Elder Holland and President Eyring, I genuinely learned so much, and I felt the saviors love for me as a child of God. I hope to use what I learned to improve my, and those I'm around to set an example and better understand the gospel, and to also improve my life.

I watched, and one of the questions shared really hit me. I had been wondering the exact same thing last night, and even in some of the same words. I know that God lives and loves us, and that some how, whoever had asked the question didn't just ask it for themselves. It was also for me. God looks after his children. He helps us all.

I love (and have loved) every Face to Face that I have had the pleasure to attend, but I must say, this one tops them all. As son as I realized there would be a Face to Face this month and that Elder Holland/President Eyring would be the speakers, I was on board I do not regret the decision one bit! I felt the spirit throughout the entire session, whether we were listening to music, discussing, or just hearing the questions. This Face to Face held everything I have needed to hear - Patriarchal blessings, being bold, prayer, scripture study, the Atonement, Seminary, and more. I loved every moment. I especially loved being taught about receiving revelation and making prayers more meaningful. I also loved every personal story shared. Thank you, Elder Holland and President Eyring! For everything!

James B, there have been new era articles I want to quote, one about a young man who was loaded with work to do and then remembered he had to practice hymns, he was able to go to bed at a reasonable time after practicing, another where a young women wanted to be in a school play and was able to make time for it by speaking up about her beliefs, if you make time for the cultural celebration, you'll be able to handle both, and I know the cultural celebration is worth it, it has been the best experience of my spiritual conversion
