Can I make corrections to my visa forms if the information already filled in is not correct?

You may use white-out tape (not liquid) to make needed changes. Do not scribble or cross things out.

How do I attach my photo to the application?

You can paperclip your photos to the application if you wish. 

Do missionaries really need to send in a copy of every page of their passport?

Yes, missionaries do need to copy every page of their passport. Missionaries also need to include their actual passport.

Can missionaries take an international trip with their passport before they go on their mission?

Yes, missionaries can take an international trip with their passport before they leave on their mission. If missionaries choose to do so, they should leave a note with the visa requirements that are mailed in and turn in their passport to the MTC travel office upon arrival at the MTC.

When will missionaries get their visa?

Missionaries will obtain their visa in the MTC.

If the missionary has not graduated from high school yet, what can we do to meet the requirement to send in a copy of the Seminary Graduation Certificate?

Please send in a current transcript from seminary and forward a copy of the Seminary Graduation Certificate as soon as it is received.

If a missionary did not attend seminary, what should we do to meet the requirement to send in a copy of the Seminary Graduation Certificate?

Please send in a copy of the high school diploma or graduation certificate.

How do I obtain a red background passport photo?

Please either call ahead to the place that provides passport photos to see if they have the red background or provide a medium red background when you obtain your passport photo. This could be a medium red poster board or a big piece of paper. You will also need to provide one photo with a white background.
