Conversion is the goal of all gospel learning and teaching. Conversion is not a onetime event. It is a lifelong quest to become more like the Savior.
Learning and teaching are not optional activities in the kingdom of god. They are the very means by which the gospel has been restored to the earth and by th which we will gain eternal life.
What matters most is the attitude or spirit by which the teacher teaches.
While we are all teachers, we must fully realize that it is the Holy Ghost who is the real teacher and witness of all truth.
When teaching and when helping people learn how to teach in the Church, three elements are essential: teach doctrine, invite to action, and promise blessings.
Parents and teachers can help children and students live the gospel more fully by asking them to act on the principles they are learning.
We all have access to the Spirit and pure doctrine.
