Audience: Adults, youth, and children
Objective: Visitors to the family history center will scan their ancestral photos and upload them to FamilySearch.org; this experience will help turn their hearts to their families, and they will desire to submit the names of their ancestors for temple work.
Invite visitors to bring family photos to scan. Help them scan their photos, upload them to FamilySearch, and add the people in the photos to their tree. Teach them how to tag and attach the photos to the correct person (or people) in Family Tree. While photos are being scanned and imported to the tree, encourage visitors to share stories about their ancestors.
If you are not familiar with scanning and attaching photos to Family Tree, practice both of these activities until you are comfortable with the process.
