Step 1: Create a Net ID

Online Application

Note: In order to apply online you must first have a Net ID.

Net ID Instructions

As part of the application process, you will need to create a Net ID (unique personal network identifier) and password. You will use your Net ID and password for a number of interactions with the CES schools, including checking the status of your application, obtaining housing, registering for classes, paying tuition, checking your grades, changing your address, and a number of other functions dealing with personal information. Please write down your Net ID and password so you can remember it until you have it memorized. Do not share it with anyone that you do not want to have access to your personal records.

As part of the application process, you will be asked for your Social Security number (SSN). Providing your SSN is optional. However, it is required for student employment, federal financial aid (Federal Pell Grants, loans, and so forth), and to receive the form to report educational credits to the IRS. Ensure that you provide the correct SSN so your test scores, transcripts, and so forth can be matched to the appropriate file.

You may already have a Net ID if you have previously applied to or attended one of the CES schools or have previously applied for housing. If this is the case, please do not create another Net ID and password. If you have forgotten your Net ID, click Forgot Net ID below and follow the instructions. If you have forgotten your password, please call 1-801-422-4000 for assistance.
