2015 Interfaith Music Tribute to Be Held at Tabernacle
- March 22, 2015
- Salt Lake Tabernacle
The Salt Lake Interfaith Roundtable presents its annual Interfaith Musical Tribute on Sunday, March 22, at 6:00 p.m.
Performances include song, dance, scripture, and prayers from the Buddhist, Catholic, Celtic, Greek Orthodox, Hindu, Jewish, Latter-day Saint, Muslim, Native American, Protestant, and Unitarian faith traditions.
The tribute originated the Sunday before the 2002 Winter Olympic Games as a time of prayerful reflection for religious leaders and others preparing to welcome the world to Salt Lake City.
It returns every year on the anniversary of the Games and is the signature event of Interfaith Month in Utah, which celebrates the legacy and spirit of global harmony and understanding inspired by the Olympic Games.
The complete, updated schedule of Interfaith Month can be seen at www.interfaithroundtable.org, which is sponsored by the Salt Lake Interfaith Roundtable.
