Youth worldwide are invited to participate in An Hour with President and Sister Russell M. Nelson: Worldwide Face to Face Event for Youth on Saturday, February 3, at 11:00 a.m. mountain standard time.

“Sister Nelson and I are delighted to participate in this upcoming Face to Face event,” said President Nelson. “Our joy is multiplied by the fact that this particular event will be a family affair: several grandchildren and great-grandchildren here in Salt Lake City, and several great-nieces and great-nephews via satellite from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, will be with us.

“Of course, we are all family. We are brothers and sisters, children of our Heavenly Parents. We feel the certainty of that truth every time we meet you in the Philippines, or Germany, or Russia, or in the more than 100 other nations to which we have traveled. So, we hope that each one of you, wherever you may live, will feel warmly welcome in our extended family gathering.”

President Nelson's wife, Sister Wendy Watson Nelson, added, “Over the years we’ve loved working on puzzles with family members when they visit us in our home. It’s fun to be creating something together while we visit and munch on popcorn and apples.

“This summer (see photo below), for example, when family members from Canada visited us on a hot Sunday afternoon, we had some compelling conversations about life, and a lot of fun, as we helped each other put pieces of a puzzle together. (A puzzle which, by the way, my husband and I would never have been able to complete without the skills of our younger family members.)

“For the February 3, 2018, Face to Face event, our family members between the ages of 12–18 will be asking us questions that puzzle them. We hope that some of their questions and the conversations which unfold will help you with what’s puzzling to you,” she concluded.

“The Gospel of Jesus Christ has all the answers to all of life’s questions,” President Nelson said. “It is our obedience to the Lord’s commandments that opens the way for the Holy Ghost to teach us those truths.

“As the President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, I invite all the youth of the Church to view this February Face to Face broadcast with your family members and friends.”

“Whether you are the only member of the Church in your family, or whether all of your family are members, the bonds of your family relationships will be strengthened, and your hearts will turn to one another, as you participate together in this worldwide family gospel discussion. That is our prayer for our family time together with you. We look forward to being with you in February.”
