  • Elder Clark invites young adults to prepare for the devotional by reading and pondering D&C Section 3.

A worldwide devotional for young adults will be transmitted live on the Church satellite system, LDS.org, and other media on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. (Mountain Daylight Time).

The speaker is Elder Kim B. Clark, a member of the Seventy and the Commissioner of the Church Educational System. Elder Clark invites young adults to prepare for the devotional by reading and pondering D&C Section 3. He said he will talk about when Joseph Smith faced uncertainties and difficulties as a young adult and how the Lord blessed him. “The Lord works in your life the way he did in Joseph's,” Elder Clark said.

All young single adults (ages 18–30), students who will be finishing high school or the equivalent by the end of August 2017, and married young adults are invited to attend.

Shortly after the live event, a recording of the devotional will be archived on devotionals.lds.org and on the Gospel Library app. That recording may be streamed or downloaded at any time.
