Experience the energy and artistry of the internationally acclaimed Brigham Young University performing groups. Over the course of several weekends, the Conference Center Theater will be full of cultural dances, a capella music, stunning costumes, and master instrumentalists and singers. Ballroom Dance Company, BYU Singers, Chamber Orchestra, International Folk Dance Ensemble, Living Legends, Noteworthy, Synthesis, and Vocal Point will dazzle audiences with performances showcasing a variety of artistic tastes.

Music, song, and dance will be in abundance at the 2018 Sacred Music Evening hosted by the Salt Lake Interfaith Roundtable. The concert will be held in the Tabernacle on Temple Square and is open to patrons of all ages and religious backgrounds. This night of unity and celebration will include musical performances, scriptural readings, and prayers from 11 Utah faith traditions.

Reprising the enormous success of their 2016 concert, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square will once again join forces to present Handel’s beloved oratorio Messiah in its entirety. To provide the most opportunities for concert seating, the performances will be heard in three locations: the live concert in the Tabernacle, a premium simulcast in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, and a closed-circuit simulcast in the Conference Center Theater.

The 188th Annual General Conference of the Church will convene in the Conference Center Auditorium in Salt Lake City on Saturday and Sunday, March 31 and April 1, 2018, and will be broadcast to many areas of the world. Saturday general sessions will be held at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. (MDT); Sunday general sessions will be held at 9:30 a.m. (MDT), which includes Music and the Spoken Word, and 2:00 p.m. (MDT). The general priesthood session will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. (MDT).

Joseph Smith Memorial Building—Legacy Theater
Meet the Mormons, Days of Harmony, and A Day for the Eternities will be showing in the Legacy Theater. Meet the Mormons examines the very diverse lives of devout members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Days of Harmony and A Day for the Eternities are two films that depict the translation of the Book of Mormon, the restoration of the priesthood, and the organization of the Church.
