  • Tenebrae “Messiah” with Tenebrae and BYU Singers, Concert Choir, Baroque Ensemble

    November 12

    Celebrated for its passion and precision, this London-based chamber choir returns, with soloists, for an intimate staging of George Frideric Handel’s timeless and glorious oratorio honoring the life and mission of Jesus Christ. Former King’s Singer Nigel Short conducts the performance, which also includes the BYU School of Music’s Baroque Ensemble, University Singers, and Concert Choir.

  • Bells on Temple Square: “Ring Praises”

    Friday and Saturday, November 18–19

    The Bells on Temple Square will open this year’s holiday season with “Ring Praises,” its annual concert led by LeAnna Willmore, conductor of the Bells on Temple Square, with associate conductor, Larry Smith, also directing several numbers, all performed by the 35-member, all-volunteer ensemble.

  • Savior of the World

    Conference Center Theater
    November 18–December 31

    The musical production Savior of the World, based on scriptural accounts of the birth and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, will return to the Conference Center Theater for the Christmas season. The show features a cast of talented actors, singers, and musicians sharing testimony through drama and song of the divine mission of Jesus Christ, the Son of God and Savior of the world.

  • First Presidency First Presidency’s Christmas Devotional

    The Christmas devotional will feature the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Orchestra at Temple Square. Speakers will be chosen from among the leaders of the Church.

    One of the world’s leading tenors and most beloved entertainers, Rolando Villazón, will be the featured guest artist at this year’s Christmas concerts by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Orchestra at Temple Square, and Bells on Temple Square  in the Conference Center. 

  • BYU International Folk Dance Ensemble Brigham Young University Winterfest 2017

    Experience the energy and excitement as the internationally acclaimed Brigham Young University performing groups take the stage in Salt Lake City at BYU Winterfest 2017. Over the course of several weekends Vocal Point, Noteworthy, International Folk Dance Ensemble, Living Legends, Young Ambassadors, and Ballroom Dance Company dazzle audiences with performances showcasing a variety of artistic tastes.
