    The general women’s session will be held in the Conference Center auditorium and will be broadcast to many areas of the world. All women, young women, and girls eight years of age and older are invited. The 186th Semiannual General Conference of the Church will convene in the Conference Center auditorium and will be broadcast to many areas of the world. Saturday general sessions will be held at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. MDT; Sunday general sessions will be held at 9:30 a.m. MDT, which includes Music and the Spoken Word, and 2:00 p.m. MDT. The general priesthood session will be held on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. MDT.

  • Orchestra at Temple Square Orchestra at Temple Square: “Dreams and Dances”

    Friday and Saturday, October 14–15

    The Orchestra at Temple Square will perform their fall concert, “Dreams and Dances” in the Salt Lake Tabernacle on Temple Square. Igor Gruppman will conduct approximately 85 members of the orchestra, an all-volunteer, nationally recognized ensemble that performs regularly with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. 

  • Savior of the World

    November 18–December 31

    The musical production Savior of the World, based on scriptural accounts of the birth and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, will return to the Conference Center Theater for the Christmas season. The show features a cast of talented actors, singers, and musicians sharing testimony through drama and song of the divine mission of Jesus Christ, the Son of God and Savior of the world.

  • Christmas at Temple Square Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert

    The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square will present their annual Christmas concerts in the Conference Center in Salt Lake City. Mack Wilberg and Ryan Murphy will conduct the concerts.

  • BYU International Folk Dance Ensemble Brigham Young University Winterfest 2017

    Experience the energy and excitement as the internationally acclaimed Brigham Young University performing groups take the stage in Salt Lake City at BYU Winterfest 2017. Over the course of several weekends Vocal Point, Noteworthy, International Folk Dance Ensemble, Living Legends, Young Ambassadors, and Ballroom Dance Company dazzle audiences with performances showcasing a variety of artistic tastes.
