  • Anthem, a Night of Music and Devotion

    Saturday, March 23

    Anthem is an interactive concert for youth and adults, featuring faith-based music and messages of hope, love, and divine worth. Presented as a community service by 90&9, a nonprofit that promotes healthy living through the arts, Anthem reminds youth who they are and who they can become. Performers for this evening include Yahosh Bonner, McKenna Hixson, and others. The concert is open to the public ages 8 and older.

  • An Evening of Britten and Bernstein

    Friday and Saturday, March 29 and 30

    The Orchestra at Temple Square and Temple Square Chorale will combine their musical talents for this year’s spring concert in the Salt Lake Tabernacle on Friday and Saturday, March 29 and 30, 2019.  Entitled “An Evening of Britten and Bernstein,” the concert will feature The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra and Te Deum in C, both by Benjamin Britten, followed by the Chichester Psalms by Leonard Bernstein.

  • The Days of ’47 Scholarship Royalty Pageant

    March 30, Public is invited at 6:30 p.m.

    The Days of ’47 Scholarship Royalty Pageant is scheduled for March 29th and 30th in Salt Lake City at the LDS Conference Center Little Theater. The public is invited to attend on Saturday, March 30th. Three young women will be selected who exemplify the high standards of pioneers, past and present, as they represent the State of Utah, the Days of ’47, and Daughters of Utah Pioneers.

  • 189th Annual General Conference

    Saturday - Sunday, April 6 – April 7

    The 189th Annual General Conference of the Church will convene in the Conference Center Auditorium in Salt Lake City on Saturday and Sunday, April 6 and April 7, 2019, and will be broadcast to many areas of the world. Saturday general sessions will be held at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. (MDT); Sunday general sessions will be held at 9:30 a.m. (MDT), which includes Music and the Spoken Word, and 2:00 p.m. (MDT). The general priesthood session will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. (MDT).

  • The Choir and Orchestra present “He Is Risen: A Sacred Easter Presentation”

    Friday and Saturday, April 19–20

    The Tabernacle Choir, the Orchestra at Temple Square, the Bells on Temple Square, and the Gabriel Trumpet Ensemble will present “He Is Risen: A Sacred Service for Easter” on Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Salt Lake Tabernacle on Temple Square.

  • 2019 Tanner Gift of Music Concert

    The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square and the Utah Symphony will present the 2019 O. C. Tanner Gift of Music concert on Friday, May 10, in the Salt Lake Conference Center as part of Golden Spike 150th anniversary celebration events and activities. The Choir and Symphony will be joined on stage by two talented Broadway stars, Brian Stokes Mitchell and Megan Hilty.

  • Bells on Temple Square Present A Spring Concert

    The Bells on Temple Square celebrate spring with their annual spring concert. The concert will be led by LeAnna Willmore, conductor of the Bells on Temple Square, and associate conductor, Geoff Anderson, and will feature the 32-member, all-volunteer ensemble.

    Joseph Smith Memorial Building—Legacy Theater

    Meet the Mormons, Days of Harmony, and A Day for the Eternities will be showing in the Legacy Theater. Meet the Mormons examines the very diverse lives of devout members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Days of Harmony and A Day for the Eternities are two films that depict the translation of the Book of Mormon, the restoration of the priesthood, and the organization of the Church.
