During the 36th Annual Festival of Lights at the Washington D.C. Temple Visitors' Center The Young Columbians Glee Club will perform at 7 and 8 PM in the Main Theater.
A group of 40 singers from Maryland who range in age from 12 to 20. Created in 1975 for America’s bi-centennial, the Young Columbians have performed their Spirit of America, Broadway and Christmas shows in such prestigious venues as the White House, Wolf Trap, Disney World, The Kennedy Center and Merriweather Post Pavilion. Aiming to entertain, teach and inspire, each Young Columbian performance has a polished innocence and freshness rarely seen in our youth today.Directors: Toby Orenstein and Larry Friedman; Accompanist: Ross Rawlings.
Tickets are required for concerts. They are free of charge and will be distributed beginning 90 minutes before each performance.
