The Washington DC Temple and surrounding grounds shine brightly with more than 450,000 sparkling Christmas lights. Each night, a different local musical group performs a live concert in a state-of-the-art theater. All events are free! Visitors are welcome to explore the temple grounds and the visitors’ center, and see a live outdoor nativity scene, an indoor exhibit of international nativity scenes, and a selection of Christmas films.

We invite you to come and bring your friends to hear President Ron Harrison talk about why he believes on Sunday, November 15, 2015 in the beautiful Washington D.C. Temple Visitors' Center Auditorium at 7 p.m.
President Harrison serves as the Global Officer for Marriott’s Global Design Division. A 33-year veteran of Marriott International, he is responsible for overseeing Marriott Global Design, including architectural and interior design, construction management, and procurement related services for all acquisition, conversion, renovation, and new construction projects.

Returning for the fifth year, the Potomac River Suzuki Strings Ensemble, under the direction of Adrienne Caravan and Elizabeth George, is a group of over 35 students ranging from age three to sixteen from Northern Virginia. These young, vibrant musicians perform holiday and classical music throughout the greater Washington D.C. area.

A group of young violinists and cellists from the Washington D.C. area ranging in age from four to eighteen will present a delightful concert of Christmas music.
