Elder Adrián Ochoa
Elder Adrián Ochoa was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 6, 2013. At the time of his call, he had been serving as Second Counselor in the Young Men General Presidency. He is currently serving as a member of the Central America Area Presidency.
Elder Ochoa was educated in Mexico. He received a bachelor’s degree in communications from the Regiomontana University in Monterrey, Mexico, in 1980. He also has a diploma in business administration from the Monterrey Technical College, and he studied marketing at the State University in Nuevo Leon (Universidad Autónoma). He is a former professor on the communications faculty at the Regiomontana University and owner and president of his own advertising and marketing company.
Elder Ochoa has held many Church callings over the years, including seminary teacher, branch president, stake high councilor, stake president, Area Seventy, director of public affairs for the Mexico North Area, president of the Honduras San Pedro Sula Belize Mission (2004–2007), and counselor in the Young Men general presidency.
Adrián Ochoa Quintana was born in San Francisco, California, on March 7, 1954. He married Nancy Villarreal in May 1987. They are the parents of five children.
