General Auxiliaries

Linda S. Reeves

Second Counselor in the Relief Society General Presidency

Sister Linda Sheffield Reeves was born in Los Angeles and raised in Pasadena, California. She met her husband, Mel, when his family moved into her ward the summer before they began attending BYU; they were married four years later in the Los Angeles Temple. Sister Reeves graduated in Special Education and taught school before the first of their 13 children were born. The Reeves moved to Utah in 1997, but returned to California when Brother Reeves presided over the California Riverside Mission. Sister Reeves loves genealogy, travel, art, music and meeting sisters from around the world.

She has tried to follow Helaman’s admonition to, “…remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation…a foundation upon if men build, they cannot fall.” (Helaman 5:12)
