Elder Marcos A. Aidukaitis

First Quorum of the Seventy

Elder Marcos A. Aidukaitis was sustained a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 5, 2008, at age 48. At the time of his call, he had been serving as the president of the Brazil Brasilia Mission. He served as a member of the Fourth Quorum of the Seventy, Brazil South Area, from 2000 to 2005. He is currently serving as a counselor in the South America South Area Presidency.

Elder Aidukaitis received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Brigham Young University in 1988. In 1989, he received a master of business administration degree from Brigham Young University. Prior to his call as a mission president, he worked as a general manager for a multinational company in Brazil. He was also a partner of a business enterprise.

Elder Aidukaitis has served in a number of Church callings, including as a full-time missionary in the Brazil Sao Paulo Mission, high councilor, regional welfare agent, stake president, mission president, and Area Seventy.

Marcos Antony Aidukaitis was born in Porto Alegre, Brazil, on August 30, 1959. He married Luisa Englert in 1986. They are the parents of five children and currently have two grandchildren.
