For 2017, the Christmas lights will turn on at dusk on Friday, November 24, the day after Thanksgiving. Visitors are welcome to come see the lights any time during the Christmas season from dusk until 10:00 p.m. through December 31.
Visitors to Temple Square are also invited to attend other Christmas and New Year’s performances and events. Unless stated, all are free and all ages are welcome.
Christmas concerts on Temple Square begin Saturday, November 25, at noon, and run through Saturday, December 23. Performances are throughout the day in the Tabernacle, the Assembly Hall, the North Visitors’ Center, the Church History Museum, the Conference Center, the lobby of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, and the lobby of the Church Office Building.
