2018 Summer Concert Series on Temple Square

  • 5 June 2018

This June, July, and August, plan to enjoy an evening of live indoor and outdoor performances on Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Temple Square 2018 Summer Concert Series begins June 2 and goes until August 31. More than 40 scheduled hour-long concerts feature everything from Broadway, barbershop, jazz, and bluegrass to bagpipes, cloggers, and Irish step dancers.

Several sing-alongs and interactive concerts are perfect for families with children. For example, for teens, there is the You Are Strong! Concert for Youth on July 10 featuring LDS youth artists performing popular favorites and selections from the LDS Mutual Theme albums. And for kids, don’t miss Daniel Beck and Rachel Shill Beck performing an interactive concert for kids with songs they love from Broadway, movies, and TV on July 31, or Around the World with Song and Dance on August 10.

The free concerts all begin at 7:30 and take place in locations on Temple Square, including the Assembly Hall, Brigham Young Park, the Conference Center Theater, the Tabernacle, and the Conference Center.

Most concerts do not require tickets (see schedule for exceptions). Park concerts are open to all ages. Unless otherwise noted, other concerts are open to ages 8 and older.

In case of inclement weather, park concerts will be moved to the Assembly Hall on Temple Square and the performances by dance groups will be in the Little Theater in the Conference Center.
