Annual General Young Women Meeting Announced

  • March 26, 2011

The general Young Women meeting is an annual opportunity for young women, their mothers, and Young Women leaders to hear counsel from the Young Women general presidency.

All young women ages 12 to 18, their mothers, and Young Women leaders are invited to participate in the general Young Women meeting on Saturday, March 26, 2011.

Speakers will include the Young Women general presidency—President Elaine S. Dalton, First Counselor Mary N. Cook, and Second Counselor Ann M. Dibb—as well as a member of the First Presidency.

The meeting is held in the Conference Center and will be broadcasted by satellite to many areas of the world in more than 50 languages. Where possible, the First Presidency encourages meeting together in chapels to view the broadcast.

The general Young Women meeting will also be available on various cable, satellite, and Internet TV or radio stations throughout the world, including Mormon Channel HD Radio. Check local program listings for availability in your area, or visit radio.ChurchofJesusChrist.org, byubroadcasting.org, or ksl.com for more information.

A recording of the broadcast will be available through local materials management offices to units that do not receive satellite broadcasts. Leaders should arrange to show the recording to these units.
