Church Announces Newly Created Stakes, Stake Reorganizations
New Stakes
A new stake has been created from the Colleyville Texas, Denton Texas, and Hurst Texas Stakes. The Alliance Texas Stake, which includes the Bonds Ranch, Heritage, Justin, Roanoke, Trophy Club, Woodland Springs 1st, and Woodland Springs 2nd Wards, was created by Elder Bradley D. Foster of the Seventy and Elder Robert C. Rhien, an Area Seventy.
A new stake has been created from the Herriman Utah South Stake. The Herriman Utah Mountain View Stake, which includes the Amber Rose, Copper Oaks, Crown Rose, Grand View, Mill Canyon, Rose Summit, and Yellow Sage Wards, was created by Elder L. Tom Perry of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and Elder Peter L. Evans of the Seventy.
A new stake has been created from the Tirana Albania District. The Tirana Albania Stake, which includes the Elbasan, Fier, Lushnjë, and Shkoder Branches and Durrës, Tirana 1st, Tirana 2nd, Tirana 3rd, Tirana 4th, and Vlorë Wards, was created by Elder Patrick Kearon of the Seventy and Elder Christofer Charles, an Area Seventy.
A new stake has been created from the Swedru Ghana District. The Winneba Ghana Stake, which includes the Asikuma, Odoben 1st, and Odoben 2nd Branches and the Ansaful, Kojo Bedu, Swedru 1st, Swedru 2nd, and Winneba Wards, was created by Elder Edward Dube of the Seventy and Elder M. T. Ben Davis, an Area Seventy.
