The Life of Jesus Christ Bible Videos have been watched millions of times over the last three years on the biblevideos.org website. A compilation of 50 videos on a single DVD is now available for purchase for $5 at store.lds.org.

Depicting events from the New Testament, The Life of Jesus Christ Bible Videos have been watched millions of times over the last three years on the biblevideos.org website, YouTube, the Bible Videos mobile app, and the Gospel Library mobile app.

In an effort to provide even greater accessibility and enable Christ-centered gift giving for the coming holidays, the Church is making these videos available for a limited time on a special DVD available at store.lds.org at the introductory price of $5 through December 31. (After January 1, the price will be $10.)

“Making these videos available on DVD provides an additional way for individuals and families to experience Jesus Christ’s sacred mission as the Savior of the world,” said Elder Larry R. Lawrence of the Seventy. “The release of these videos on DVD creates a Christmas gift opportunity to family and friends of all faiths.”

The DVD is a great resource and may serve as a helpful supplement for family home evenings and for family and classroom study of the New Testament in 2015.

All of the videos on the DVD, and 35 more, may be viewed and downloaded for free online. Additional videos depicting the Acts of the Apostles will be published online in 2015.

Images from the videos that can be downloaded and used for a variety of purposes are also available at biblevideos.org and in a new image collection in LDS.org’s Media Library.

“One of the things I liked most about this DVD was the helpful organization of the videos into categories, as well as the ability to find the videos by scripture passage,” said Elder Daniel L. Johnson of the Seventy.

Elder Johnson further commented, “The custom packaging makes it look and feel like a video version of the New Testament. While priced inexpensively, the high quality of this product showcases the love for and reverence we have for our Lord Jesus Christ.”

The videos are faithful to the biblical account presented in the King James Version of the Bible. On the website, actual text from the Bible verses and photographs from the filming also accompany each video scene. They are made available for the purpose of helping more people understand and appreciate the matchless life of Jesus Christ, the Son of God and Savior of the world. The videos may be used freely by individuals, families, and groups without acknowledgement as long as the terms of use are observed.

The videos help one to envision the people, the culture, and the time period surrounding Christ’s life. They help bring the biblical stories to life. Along with the DVD and website, the Bible Videos mobile app offers an engaging and interactive way to watch and read key accounts from the New Testament.
