  • Beginning September 1, the Draper Utah Temple will only be open on Fridays and Saturdays.

Beginning in September, the Draper Utah Temple will be partially closed for a 10-week period while repairs are made.

“The Draper Temple will be closed Monday through Thursday from September 1 through November 15 for routine maintenance and to repair condensation issues with the windows,” said Kristen Howey, spokeswoman for the Church. “The temple will be open on Fridays and Saturdays—its busiest days—throughout this period to allow patrons to continue temple work.”

The Jordan River Utah Temple closed in February for extensive renovations, but the nearby Oquirrh Mountain Temple and the Mount Timpanogos Temple will remain open during the renovation period. See temples.ChurchofJesusChrist.org for a list of session times.

The Draper Temple was announced October 2, 2004, and ground was broken August 5, 2006. President Thomas S. Monson dedicated it on March 20, 2009.
