Jason Smyth to open ChildVision Saturday in Dublin

On the 28th of September 2013 there will be an exceptional fund raising event held in the grounds of ChildVision in Drumcondra, Dublin opened by Jason Smyth, the Irish double gold medalist from the London 2012 Paralympic Games and member of the Church who suffers from Stargardt disease and only 10% vision.  For over 100 years, ChildVision have been educating & encouraging children with sight loss and other multiple disabilities to grow into his/her own person and to develop a determination and resilience to never to give up trying.

The determination and resilience he has demonstrated throughout his life is exactly what ChildVision aims to build in each child that they work with. Tracey Piggott, the RTE sports reporter, will be interviewing Jason on the day from a public gallery.
