A new process allows members around the world to submit their general conference photographs—like this one from Guam, featured in the May Ensign and Liahona—to the Church magazines.

The Ensign and Liahona magazines are asking members to participate in the upcoming general conference, and the general conferences to follow, by submitting conference-related photographs from their local areas immediately after conference occurs for consideration to be printed in the May and November issues of the magazines.

Members can submit their photographs quickly and easily through ChurchofJesusChrist.org by typing in ChurchofJesusChrist.org/magazine, and then clicking on Submit Your Material in the right-hand column of the magazines landing page.

The Liahona and Ensign websites also have sections titled “Submit Material” where members can access the online forms to submit photos.

Members should review the Image Guidelines before submitting their image to increase the chances of having their photograph accepted. The guidelines under “General Conference Photos” specify the photograph format, quality, and content that magazine editors are looking for, as well as the deadline for conference photograph submissions—10:00 a.m., Salt Lake City time, the Tuesday after general conference.

The magazines are looking for photographs of people “in modest Church attire approaching the meetinghouse,” “watching a broadcast of conference,” “traveling to general conference,” and so forth.

“Including photographs of members participating in conference around the world helps us better represent the worldwide Church in the magazines, and it also gives us the opportunity to help those Saints who may feel isolated to recognize that we are all brothers and sisters in the Lord’s kingdom,” said Eric Johnsen, a multimedia designer for Church magazines.
