The Church’s Mormon Channel offers members 24/7 access to uplifting programming on the radio and on the web with the goal of bringing people around the world to Christ.

In May 2009, the Church launched Mormon Channel, a 24-hour-a-day, 7-days-a-week radio program found at Since then, this official Church media channel has grown to include Mormon Messages on YouTube and a podcast site on iTunes, all accessible from Mormon Channel’s homepage.

Those seeking inspirational and uplifting media can access Mormon Channel content anytime and virtually anywhere—on the web, on the radio, or on the phone.

“We offer about 25 different programs every week, and each program has a different look, but in all of them we are trying to give listeners an alternative to programming they can find anywhere else—an opportunity to hear the messages of prophets, seers, and revelators,” said Rob Boshard, manager with Mormon Channel. “We’re trying to present uplifting and enlightening programming for members as well as nonmembers. Everything we do is to bring people unto Christ.”

At the original, Mormon Channel programming—covering topics ranging from family history to interviews with Church leaders to the youth to the history of Church hymns—are available as a live stream 24 hours a day.

Mormon Messages on YouTube is another program of Mormon Channel. Church news and events, general conference, and other Church-produced videos can be viewed online or on a mobile device. is the official podcast site for the Church. iTunes members can subscribe and download video and audio podcasts for general conference, Mormon Messages, CES Firesides, and their favorite audio series from the LDS Radio Channel free of charge.

The Mormon Channel app—available for multiple mobile devices including Android, Apple, BlackBerry, Palm, and Windows Mobile at the Mobile Applications page—makes the Church’s radio station available at the touch of a fingertip.
