New Family History Technology Conference Set

  • 9 December 2010

The first annual RootsTech Conference, a gathering of both family history enthusiasts and technologists from around the world, will be held February on 10–12, 2011, at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City. The BYU Conference on Computerized Family History, the BYU Technology Workshop, and FamilySearch Developers Conference will be part of the RootsTech Conference in 2011.

Genealogy hobbyists and professionals alike will discover new and emerging technologies through interactive presentations, demonstrations of upcoming products, panel discussions and hands-on workshops. At the same time, technology providers will enjoy a rare opportunity to interact with family history enthusiasts face-to-face and hope to better understand their needs.
